We started with the search for answers to some pretty base questions:
Why does Si and people like him make music? Why does he choose to distribute this music? but the important one we found was:
What is the most sustainable / wickedest way to do this? ...as we all know its the Why's that give us the clue, but its the What's that
inform what we do.

We researched and excluded all traditional distribution methods in the pursuit of designing one that is bespoke and relevant to Si,
the music industry today, and the way people share and access information and entertainment online. So we concluded that what a
non-mainstream musician with artistic integrity needs, is to be able to get his music out there to as many people as possible within a
framework that not only is sympathetic to his own exposure & the needs of the music consuming public, but one that is actually
progressive in encouraging the act of information sharing within the music community.

What we have done is make all the music on this E.P available for free, available to download and distribute at will, with no copyright
whatsoever. Effectively music in the public domain. Once music is digitized and is turned from waveforms into data then the beast is
loose, as the files are available to be copied and distributed infinitely with no loss of quality.

We don't want to attempt to stop these habits, as we fully endorse and encourage them. Social habits have dictated that people now
expect digital entertainment readily available and free of charge. The old "You are licensed to play this record once, on your own in a
dark room only" seems as archaic as it is draconian when you purchase a licensed piece of music from HMV these days.

So, we are encouraging people to share this E.P. host it themselves and spread the love as it will hopefully get Si more exposure outside of
his usual avenues, maybe gain him the odd remix project and ultimately get more people out to see Si play as a DJ or Live act, because
performance is a big part of Si choosing to do what he does for a living. So if you want the Mp3's you can have them, If you want the
24bit 44.1khz wavs you can have them, they will all be available free online from the release date.

But if you want the bespoke & non-copyable limited-edition individually-numbered hand-made super-silent 12" digital box-set,
including the exclusive DJ remix toolkit consisting of all track layers and sound samples as 24bit 44.1khz wavs... breath...
then you're going to have put your hand in your pocket and buy one, I'm pleased to say.
